AndChess ("we", "our", or "us") operates the AndChess mobile application.

a) Account & Authentication Data

• Google account information (name, email, profile picture)
• Lichess account information (username, email, rating data)
• Phone number (if linked)
• User ID and session identifiers

We use secure authentication mechanisms including Firebase Authentication and OAuth.

b) Tokens & Security Data

• JWT access tokens
• Refresh tokens
• OAuth tokens (Lichess)

These are securely stored on your device using encrypted storage and are used only for authentication.

c) Profile & App Usage Data

• Username, display name
• Profile information
• XP, streaks, and preferences (e.g., theme settings)

d) Game & Chess Data

• Game data (PGN, moves, results)
• Tournament participation and results
• Puzzle attempts

e) Location Data

We collect location data (latitude/longitude) only when you use features like attendance marking.

f) Support & Bug Reports

• Description of the issue
• Device information (model, OS version)
• Optional attachments (e.g., screenshots)

2. How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate users
• Provide gameplay features (games, puzzles, tournaments)
• Improve app functionality
• Respond to support requests
• Maintain security and prevent abuse

3. Data Storage & Security

• Sensitive data (tokens) is stored securely using encryption on your device
• Backend data is stored using secure infrastructure (databases, cloud storage)
• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data

4. Third-Party Services

• Google / Firebase (authentication)
• Lichess (account integration)
• Cloud storage and database providers
• AI services (for content processing)

These services process data only as required to provide functionality.

We do not sell your personal data.
